We Love Poetry
Generate excitement for poetry. This series showcases the author's infectious enthusiasm for teaching poetry to children and young people. The four books offer creative writing ideas and topics for emergent though to independent readers, explore poetic devices and formats and set out one-off and cross-curricular poetry sessions. Wendy Clarke
Wendy Clarke is a creative writing teacher who is passionate about promoting poetry in the classroom. Wendy also enjoys writing her own poetry and is currently completing a degree in English Literature, focusing on creative writing. She lives and works near Arrowtown in the beautiful Central Otago region of New Zealand.
