Sue Ward

Sue Ward is an outdoors consultant and creative practitioner who advises and supports settings on a wide range of early childhood and school grounds projects, from the development of playgrounds to planning school gardens. As an accredited trainer and early childhood facilitator for Learning through Landscapes, Sue is passionate about creating purposeful opportunities for children to spend more time outside. She regularly provides professional development as part of the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and has been inspired by the many teachers and early childhood practitioners who have attended her courses. Her work for Creative Partnerships has led to a particular interest in promoting the use of outdoors to foster children’s creative development.
