Designing Scientific Experiments
- An essential student guide to understanding, designing and running experiments in the science classroom
This resource lays the foundations for productive experimental work by budding scientists. It begins with simple activities that build students' understanding and appreciation of the scientific method. Differentiated worksheets then familiarize them with the key aspects of a well-designed experiment from the aim and equipment through to the conclusion. Drawing on all these components together, this book concludes with an exciting selection of experimental ideas and templates that students can apply to experiments of their own in the classroom.
