Learn about Our Green Earth Bk 1
Ideas and activities from early childhood educators
Introduce young children to the idea of caring for our Earth. This two-book series will empower them to contribute to a sustainable environment through its easy-to-run activities. It is designed to foster a love of learning and provide knowledge and skills across curriculum areas while engaging the children in fun-filled learning. Educators are supported with well-structured lesson plans, each with learning objectives, vocabulary lists, thematically related book lists, lists of materials, directions for preparation, activity details and an assessment component. The activities require few materials and little, if any, preparation. Some activities also include related finger plays, poems or songs that you can sing and chant with the children – always a happy and successful way to consolidate children’s learning!
